DIRECTIONS FROM JOHANNESBURG TO LINDBERGH
Proceed on M1 South (staying in the right hand lane) and follow the Bloemfontein / Kimberley signs until you see the Kimberley sign which leads on to the Potchefstroom road. This is the N12, which you will follow through Potchefstroom and Klerksdorp until you reach Wolmaransstad.
Once in Wolmaransstad, travel on the N12 (the Bloemhof road) for approximately 18 km until you see the Rietpan sign. Turn right onto a gravel road and proceed a further 15 km until you see the Leeuwfontein sign (as well as the Lindbergh Lodge sign). Turn right and it is only 1.5 km to the main white stone pillars (which are on the left hand side of the road) where you turn left. The lodge is a further 6 km from the main gates.
The scenery from Wolmaransstad to the lodge is very different to that found at Lindbergh. So please do not despair when driving from Wolmaransstad to the lodge, as only when you reach the white gates will you see on the distant Northwest Horizon a wide belt of trees, and that is where the lodge is situated. A Satour official has referred to us as the “Jewel of the Northwest!”.
Please drive safely and we look forward to welcoming you to Lindbergh.
An excellent private airstrip also facilitates direct air transfer from Johannesburg in one hour . (GPS Coordinates : S27,14″ E25,43″)
